The Brewery

With a maximum occupancy of 50 and a 2-barrel system, we are a nanobrewery with attitude. The brewer is cranking out beers on this small system to provide five to six flagship beers and three to four specialty beers on a rotating basis. Make yourself comfortable at the bar or kick back with friends at any one of our tables to talk and enjoy the quiet atmosphere while you listen to soft music or enjoy the game on TV.

For us, it's all about the beer. However, we don't want you to go hungry. If you are craving a little something to accompany your beer, feel free to pick up a pizza and bring it along. Or ask for a menu from one of the local restaurants willing to deliver to you at BVB.

The Building

At one time, 816 7th Street was literally a parking lot between the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company and Places. In 1961, Ed's Newstand enclosed the parking lot between these two buildings and was built to serve as the bus stand for travelers in and out of Boone. Over time, the building was adapted for various uses and we were delighted to resurrect the character of the original interior. We were excited to find unexpected surprises during deconstruction including the original parking spaces painted on what was the exterior wall of the telephone company.
